Black Friday: History & Highlights

In honor of Black Friday tomorrow, I thought it would be fun to post an infographic with a little history about the biggest shopping day of the year. After we go to my in-law's this afternoon for a Thanksgiving meal with family, we will head back home and i will scurry to get the kids in bed. And then I will be off to pick up my sister-in-law around 8:00pm as we head out on our Black Friday mission. I will be sure to recap our night and the deals we got once I regain consciousness sometime over the weekend.

  5. How did your shopping go? I spent most of Friday trying to get my ecomom order to go through (still trying, BTW)--I think I would have been better off braving the crowds at the mall!

  8. I avoid Black Friday like the plague - I only go after the crowds die down! There aren't as many "steals" left, but it's a great time to do some shopping when things are still cheaper than usual!
