I have to admit, when my boys first got into Minecraft a few years ago, I just didn't get it. OK, fine, I still don't really get the appeal if I am honest, but all four of them love it as so I make the best of it. Minecraft is a game about placing blocks (or removing them) to build awesome world. Players can play in Creative Mode with unlimited resources to build whatever they want or play in Survivor mode where they have to fend off enemies. I think what my boys love the most is that they can play on their own or together, all though playing together some time causes arguments. And by arguments I mean they go into each others worlds and destroy things. Sigh. Now I still might not quite "get it", but I do love that it is a family friendly game that they all enjoy.

One of the most popular items I have seen this holiday shopping season is the Xbox One S Minecraft bundle. I first saw these pop up on Black Friday ads back in November and immediately new I had to get one for our family. (I bought mine fromBest Buy on Thanksgiving). What's so great about this bundle is not only that it comes with all the Minecraft games preloaded, but also that the new Xbox One S plays 4K Blu-ray™ movies. That feature alone sold me. This bundle is available right now at Best Buy for just $249.99. which is a $50 savings off the regular price.

Now if the Minecraft lover in your life already has all the games, there are plenty of Minecraft toys and collectibles that he or she would love. There are mini figures and playsets, card games and even drones, so there is something for everyone in every price range. Take a look at all of the Minecraft Gifts available at Best Buy.

What Minecraft gifts are you grabbing this holiday season?

Return to Star Hallow with Netflix #StreamTeam #GilmoreGirls

I am a Netflix Stream Team member and have been given a Netflix membership to help facilitate my posts. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

If you watched television in the early 2000's, you surely have hear of the hit show Gilmore Girls. And if you say that you haven't, well then your lying. Even people who didn't actively watch the show knew of it and it's extreme popularity as it was a cornerstone for the CW Network for 7 seasons. Now, 16 years after we were first taken to Star Hallow, Connecticut, Lorelai and Rory are back in a 4-epside miniseries on Netflix: Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life has been streaming on Netflix since November 25, 2016 and my social media stream have been filled with both new and old fans of the show watching it and falling in love with the characters all over again. And it seems like once isn't enough for some of the hard core viewers.

Have you had a chance to watch it yet?

About Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life consists of four memorable chapters from the lives of Lorelai, Emily, Rory and countless more Stars Hollow stalwarts. The story is told through four 90-minute chapters -- each spanning one season: Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall -- and brings back to life everything from the quaint corner diner to the dreamy Dragonfly Inn to a fast-talking, quick-witted mother-daughter love story unlike any other.

Disney is Coming to Netflix! #StreamTeam

I am a Netflix Stream Team member and have been given a Netflix membership to help facilitate my posts. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Disney movies are a staple in our house. Old and new we love them all. With Disney adding both Marvel and Star Wars to their lineup over the past few years, yeah well you can say that we might be a bit Disney obsessed even. So we were excited to see more Disney titles arriving on Netflix. In fact starting this month, Netflix has become the exclusive US pay TV home of the latest films from Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar. Eeeeeeek! Now do we own many of these movies on Blu-ray already? Why yes, yes we do (see previous note on obsession). But there is just something better about having them on Netflix and accessible at the touch of a button from any of our numerous devices.
