$250 Outset Media Games Prize Pack #Giveaway #holidayshowcase

Board games can make great gifts for the holidays. Santa usually ends up bringing a few new games to our home every Christmas. They provide a fun way to unplug and spend quality time with your family. Outset Media offers a wide variety of games for kids, adults and the family plus a large selection puzzles.

"Outset Media is committed to developing games that create truly memorable social experiences and quality built puzzles. We manufacture games that are built to last, with quality construction and materials. And we spend many thoughtful hours developing games with engaging content, so you will want to play them over-and-over again."

One of Outset Media's popular games is the America Trivia Family Edition. This game feature knowledge-based content trivia cards that have two sides - one with easier questions (Junior side) and the other with more difficult questions (Expert side). And one of my favorite features - it is printed with environmental-friendly ink and made with recycled materials.

Check out this funny video clip of "American Trivia On The Street". It is actually a little sad that people don't know some of the basic facts about the country they live in.

The Little Engine That Could Game Review & Giveaway

Having a family game night is a really great way for everyone to gather around, spend some quality time together, unplugged, and just have some fun. Introducing board games at a young age is good and hopefully will help to build a long standing tradition. We have some of the classic board games, as well as some Star Wars versions of classic board games. I was recently given the opportunity to try a Tales to Play game from Patch.

"Our Tales to Play™ line of games brings to life classic and beloved stories for children and families to enjoy. If you love the book, then you can now live the game with colorful game boards, including 3D accessories and detailed characters. Each game is an adventure, much like the ones children read about in books, and each time you play you'll experience the magic and whimsy of a great story being told.

We received The Little Engine That Could Game to play with. My children are familiar with and enjoy this book a lot, and we actually have three copies of it. The game brings the story to life for them with bright blue train engines that move along the tracks on the game board till they eventually make it up the big mountain.
