Wordless Wednesday: Fall Colors

I had to share one more New England fall foliage photo. This is the small Japanese Maple tree that is in our front yard. The red was just so bright and beautiful, I had to take a picture. Literally the next day, all of the leaves fell off.

I was excited to get these because my twins actually have a safari theme in their room so this would go well. Plus, they are 2.5 years old and I still have not put up any of their wall decor. Here is what one side of their room looked like before my little makeover:


The Greenie2Steps wall art was very easy to use. The sheet comes rolled up so lay it flat before you get started. While you are waiting for that, give the walls a quick wipe with a wet cloth to make sure you have a clean surface. When you are ready, slowly and gently peel the stickers off of the sheet. They come off very easily and I had no tearing or any other issues. Then press onto the wall and smooth out any air bubbles. I wound up putting my stickers around the closet, which unfortunately you can't see too well in the before picture above (it is the brown door on the far right). But here are some after pictures, I think they look great!




I can't even tell you how excited the boys were to see their newly decorated room! They keep running over to the lion and tiger and pointing to them so I tell them what they are (they both have a speech delay).

What I really like about this site is all the information they list for each product. Each item page contains several tabs: features, Green 411 and Ingredients. First of all, I cannot stress enough how helpful it is to have all the ingredients listed here for you. It makes it very easy to compare items and pick the one that you think is best for you. On the features tab you find information on the company like what kind of packaging they use, if they are USA based, etc. Finally on the Green 411 tab you are given very useful green tips about dangers of chemicals. Green 4 Your Soul has a wide selection of products from bath & body to cosmetics to hair care and even products for babies and children.

I was sent the Noli n Nali Forest Potion Baby Lotion to test out. Now since my baby isn't here yet (soon!) I used the lotion on both myself and one of my 2.5 year old twins. The first thing I noticed about it was the texture. It is so light and airy and goes on very smoothly. I personally do not like thick lotions or creams so I really liked this. The scent is also very pleasant. I can't quite describe what it is, it is definitely different, but not overwhelming at all. I also really liked the type of pump bottle it was in. Very easy to dispense while trying to tackle a toddler. Noli n Nali also makes other items for both mom and child like a belly butter and baby shampoo. They would make perfect baby shower gifts!
