Netflix: Your Home for LEGO Shows #StreamTeam

As a mom of four boys, I have sort of a love/hate relationship with LEGOs building block. I love them because my kids love them and they can provide hours of creativity and entertainment. I hate them because they end up being everywhere. EVERYWHERE. I think every parent at some point has stepped on a LEGO brick while barefoot and the pain is quite surprising from something so little. If you haven't yet had the pleasure, my advice to you: wear sock all the time.

Of course their love for LEGOs has carried over into a love of the LEGO video games as well as LEGO shows and movies. Thankfully, Netflix has always had a few LEGO options to choose from and believe me, we've seen them all multiple times. In March, Netflix added two more to its lineup with LEGO Bionicle: The Journey to One and LEGO Friends: The Power of Friendship.

 With these two new additions, Netflix now has 12 LEGO offerings on its streaming service including Marvel Super Heroes, DC Comics Super Heroes, Ninjago and more. Which ones does your family love watching?

Fuller House Now On Netflix #StreamTeam

I have probably said it a thousand times before but I don't mind saying it again. One of the best things about Netflix is their original shows. And not just that they offer original shows, but that their original shows are awesome. It's been weeks since I finished Jessica Jones and yet I still think about it because it was that darn good.  Next to the Marvel shows, I think Netflix's Fuller House is one of their most highly anticipated shows to date. If you grew up in the 80s/90s like I did, you are familiar with Full House. And yes, I was a huge fan and made sure I watched it every TGIF. So getting the cast back together for a new show with the girls all grown up is exciting.

Whether you were a fan of the original show or a complete newbie, I definitely think this is a fun family show that you should give a try.

New Year, New Shows on Netflix #StreamTeam

How many times do you hear the saying "New Year, New You!" every January? Countless times I am sure. For some people that may mean exercising more and being healthy and for others that may mean doing or trying something else new. Or perhaps going on a fun adventure. For 2016, our family has a new adventure planned and that is heading down to Florida and Walt Disney World. To say we are excited is a huge understatement.

As we count down the days to our big Disney adventure, and there are A LOT of days left, thankfully Netflix is constantly providing us with new shows to keep us laughing and busy. If you have seen Dreamworks full length animated movie The Croods, you know how hilarious that prehistoric family can be. That movie was something we all enjoyed as a family so we are all very excited when we saw Netflix added an all new original animated series: Dawn of the Croods.

The world's first family is back for more laughs as they discover sports, sleepovers and other wonders in a world of exotic creatures and adventures.

Our kids once again got a kick out of this wacky family and no surprise, the show was a big hit in our home.  We have yet to watch a Netflix/Dreamworks series that we didn't enjoy so I hope they keep them coming!
