Cascadian Farm Organic Trail Mix Chewy Granola Bars Review & Giveaway

Earlier this year I tried out some Cascadian Farm cereals and granola bars. Ever since that review my kids have been hooked. We go through about two boxes of the Cinnamon Crunch cereal per week and I always have some of the kids sized granola bars on hand, especially for a quick snack after hockey practice. So I jumped at the chance to try the Cascadian Farm Trail Mix Chewy Granola Bars.

I am always looking for healthy snacks for my family, it is nice to have a variety so the kiddos don't get tired of the same things over and over again. Sadly, the kids did not even get to try out any of these. Why? Because I. Ate. Them. All. Yes, that's right, of the four boxes I received, I ate every single one. Not all in one shot, mind you but over several weeks. They were so good that I didn't even want to share. I feel slightly guilty about it. OK, not really.

The Trail Mix Chewy Granola bars come in two flavors: Vanilla Almond Cherry and Dark Chocolate Cranberry. The Vanilla Almond Cherry contains vanilla chips, pretzels, wholesome rolled oats, crunchy almonds, and dried cherries and the Dark Chocolate Cranberry has plump raisins, dried cranberries, peanuts, rich chocolate, and wholesome rolled oats. Both are very yummy, but if I had to pick a favorite, and I did, it would be the Vanilla Almond Cherry. Holy moly most delicious granola bar I have ever eaten in my life. Seriously. I was actually skeptical at first because of the dried cherries - I had never eaten dried cherries before. I took one bite and I was hooked. I think the first day I had these I ate two in a row, they were that good. The vanilla chips and almonds and cherries are an amazing blend of flavors and make for such a tasty treat. And this totally satisfies my sweets craving for the day, which keeps me away from the leftover Halloween candy. The Dark Chocolate Cranberry is very tasty as well and I like that it gives me my chocolate fix.

Had I given them a chance to try these, I know my kids would have loved them. These granola bars are chewy and sweet and packed with 5 grams of fiber and 2 grams of protein. The best part is that they are certified organic and made with all natural ingredients. You won't find and artificial junk in these granola bars! The Trail Mix Chewy Granola Bars have been added to my list of food I love from Cascadian Farm.
