In one of our flower beds we have what is commonly called a butterfly bush, or Buddleja for your green thumb types. It has been in full bloom for a few weeks now and I love watching the different butterflies come and go.
Early Tuesday morning I was able to snap a few pictures of this beautiful swallowtail butterfly.
The other day I noticed this other creature. It sort of looks and acts like a hummingbird, but with the antennae and legs it also looks like some type of insect. I looked it up and it turns out it is a Hummingbird Moth. The photo is blurry since his wings are moving so fast.
So pretty!
